I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
